Alvoru is an AI chatbot for small businesses whose customer data — knowledge base, conversations, leads and backups — is stored on Hetzner's EU servers in Germany and Finland (within the EEA, ISO 27001). You automatically enter into a data processing agreement (DPA) in accordance with Article 28 GDPR, and the full list of sub-processors is public. The AI answers come from Anthropic (Claude, US); that transfer is covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). In short: your data stays in Europe, with transparent and legally grounded safeguards.
A chatbot processes names, phone numbers and questions from your visitors. As a small-business owner, you are responsible for that data — even when a tool processes it.
