No. The portal is designed for business owners without a technical background. Installation is done via a Chrome extension (one click), and filling in your knowledge base works like a normal form. Still need help? Send an email to info@alvoru.com and Alvoru will help you get started.

Yes. Alvoru processes all data in accordance with the GDPR. Your customer data is stored on European servers (Hetzner, Germany). All communication is encrypted via HTTPS. Alvoru never shares your data with third parties without your consent. See also the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled monthly; on cancellation they run until the end of the paid period and then stop automatically. Annual subscriptions run until the end of the contract period. You cancel via your customer portal or by sending an email to info@alvoru.com. After cancellation, the chatbot stays active until the end of the paid period.

Alvoru offers a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. The first 14 days after your chatbot goes live form a guarantee period — during that time nothing is charged yet. Not satisfied? Then cancel within 14 days and you pay nothing at all. No questions, no hassle. Get in touch via info@alvoru.com.

Yes. The chatbot is fully responsive and works on all devices: desktop, tablet and smartphone. Visitors on mobile see the same chat feature as on a computer. No extra adjustments needed.

Hardly. You install the chatbot yourself in 2-5 minutes via our Chrome extension (1 click) or by placing a single line of code on your website — comparable to a Google Analytics snippet. No technical knowledge required.

The chatbot updates itself automatically. Alvoru checks your website regularly and retrains the chatbot as soon as new or changed information is found. You don't have to do anything for this.

Yes. The Alvoru chatbot works on any platform that serves HTML pages: WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, and also on custom-built websites. Installation is done via the Chrome extension or by adding a single script tag to your theme or template.

Alvoru processes data in accordance with the GDPR. Conversation data is stored on servers within the EU. Alvoru enters into a data processing agreement with you, so you can operate in a GDPR-compliant way. Your customer data is never used to train external AI models. You'll find more details in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.

ChatGPT is a general-purpose AI — Alvoru is trained specifically on your business information and only gives answers that are correct for your business. Intercom typically costs €500-€2000/mo and is built for large English-speaking enterprises. Alvoru starts free with paid plans from €20/mo, is built for small businesses, and you can install it in 2-5 minutes — no 6-week onboarding.

Not automatically. Your customer conversations are NOT used to train Claude (the underlying AI) — that's contractually excluded with Anthropic. You can, however, manually add frequently asked questions to the knowledge base in your customer portal. The AI uses that knowledge base in future conversations. That way you have full control over what the AI knows.

When a visitor shares their contact details in the chat, you get an email straight away and the lead appears in your customer portal. Optionally, you can enter a webhook URL (under Settings → Integrations) to automatically send leads to Slack, Zapier or your own CRM . You own all your leads — you can export to CSV under Settings → GDPR.

Not yet. The current Alvoru AI Chatbot works only through a web chat widget on your website. WhatsApp Business integration is on our roadmap. For now, you can display a WhatsApp click-through button in your chatbot.
