Version 1.0 · 10 June 2026
1. Our commitment to accessibility
Alvoru strives to make its website and services accessible to everyone, regardless of disability or the technology used. As our guideline we apply the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA as the targeted quality level.
Accessibility is not a one-off project but a continuous improvement process. We actively work to identify and resolve accessibility issues.
2. Compliance status
Alvoru.com is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. This means that some parts of the website do not yet fully meet the guidelines. We are continuously working to improve.
The following measures have already been implemented:
- Skip-navigation link ("Skip to content") on all pages for keyboard users.
- Semantic HTML structure with correct use of headings (h1–h3).
- Alternative text (
altattributes) on images. - Sufficient colour contrast for primary text elements.
- Keyboard navigation for the main navigation and buttons.
- ARIA attributes on interactive elements (hamburger menu, modals).
- Mobile responsiveness for all screen sizes.
3. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, there are areas that still need attention:
- Some complex tables lack full ARIA descriptions for screen readers.
- The AI chatbot widget may not be fully operable via keyboard or screen reader for all users.
- Some PDF documents are not fully accessible.
We are working to resolve these limitations in future updates.
4. Technical specifications
The accessibility of alvoru.com relies on the following technologies:
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript (progressive enhancement — core content is available without JavaScript)
The website has been tested with the following assistive technologies and combinations:
- VoiceOver on macOS/iOS with Safari
